A new Cyber Student Chapter has been launched as a regular meet up for any student studying cybersecurity in Greater Manchester. This new group will bring together students so they can share ideas, network and meet experts from the industry.
With over 100 students already registered to attend the launch event, this is an opportunity to be part of a growing community of cybersecurity enthusiasts. The event on Tuesday 20th October will offer students a chance to engage with some of the region’s leading cyber companies, improve their knowledge and develop skills that will help them to get a job when they finish their studies.
This event will feature three main speakers taking to the (virtual) stage. Richard Lush from CGI will talk about his journey into Cyber Security, followed by Jim Baldwin who will share his insight into information security roles. Finally, Ben Spring from TryHackMe will introducing his exciting capture the flag (CTF) event specifically designed for the GM Cyber Student Chapter.
You can register for FREE tickets to this launch event at Eventbrite.
