The Cyber Resilience Centre is a joint venture between Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and Manchester Digital.

We are a non-profit organisation which aims to support businesses by providing the highest standards in leadership, integration and collaboration across the cyber eco-system in Greater Manchester and exists to support, innovate, protect and help grow businesses safely.

The Cyber Resilience Centre has an influential network of experienced partners at senior level across many sectors, including Banks, Financial and Professional Services, Cyber Security Providers, the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU), Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and local Universities through our collaboration with the Greater Manchester Cyber Foundry.

The work of the Cyber Resilience Centre is overseen by a Governance & Advisory Board which is drawn from representatives across policing and leading technology companies to help us prioritise our work.

Our Mission

Our mission is to reduce the vulnerability of Greater Manchester's business community to cyber crime.

Based on a successful model, we will create a collaborative nexus between Policing, Private and Public sectors to provide a targeted programme of preventative work which will substantially increase the take-up of effective cyber security measures to safeguard Greater Manchester's business community.

We are also working very closely with local students and academia through a number of Universities, to help upskill and increase employability into this growing sector.

Our unique connection to a flourishing network of Cyber & Business Resilience Centres and links to National Policing means that we have access to the latest information on cyber legislation, criminal trends and threats allowing the Cyber Resilience Centre to provide the very best advice to safeguard businesses, their staff, customers and wider communities.

All our advice and guidance is consistent with that of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
